The First Baskets of the Season

So, I mentioned the other day that we had a rough weekend/early week.  I also had to scramble to get all of our tax stuff ready. Luckily, I love spreadsheets! However, between my voice being nearly gone and the distraction of spreadsheet fun, my house has suffered greatly! I just cannot believe that it is Friday already!!! I had more blog posts planned, so those will have to come next week.  In the meantime, here are some lovely pictures of an order I finished in the beginning of the week- my first baskets this season!

It is starting to snow outside my window, but if I keep on looking at my computer screen here, I can pretend it really is Spring! :)

I think I am glad that it is Friday! Next week will be better and I am sure I will have lots more loveliness to share.

Today I am linking up with StudioJRU's Sneak Peek in the Studio Friday:

Your handmade baskets look amazing! Your fabric inserts/liners for them are a wonderful finishing touch.

Beautiful! I love the color weaves too! When I lived in MI I used to weave baskets, so I'm always smitten with a pretty one. They will no doubt be treasured forever.
Blessings!

They are truly lovely, Lindsay! I think the colors are so vibrant and fun. I'm glad you were able to get something done this week, but rest up and feel better soon!

Your baskets are gorgeous! I discovered your blog on Pinterest, and couldn't help but stopping by to browse. I am also your newest follower. I love that you have a big family as I grew up in a family with 6 biological kids and 2 adopted from Ukraine. As I was looking at your pictures, the terrain looked so familiar, and then as I continued to read I saw that JoAnn fabric just opened near you. From that info I figure that we must be pretty close to each other in location. Feel free to check out my blog at www.thisthat-n-tother.com

Have a blessed day!
